Web Portal Access - Error: MEDIA_FAILED

Heyas -
Have a few cams setup around the outside and inside the house - running with HB3.
When i had just the one outside (E42) - the web portal was working mint.
Added the other 3 (another E42 and 2 x C31’s) - and now, when I attempt to view any of them via the web - am getting Error: MEDIA_FAILED.
On the same SSID/Network.
Thoughts?

I have been getting this same error for months now, tried restarting cameras, gone incognito, cleared cache nothing seems to work

So, I know e42 is single cam , not sure about the other one. But make look in your settings and try seeing what It would do if you have the single view selected on each camera , maybe a dual view camera might be messing with it. That was my issue for what I was experiencing. Maybe mess with that and a few other settings and see what remedies it. And Definitely come back and let us know.

Ok i found the issue. Tried on firefox and opera, disabled the WebRTC PQC for DTLS thing. Same issue.
BUT i tried to open the link on the steam app, and it worked ! so its a browser update, that eufy is too lazy to fix

the process: on the steam store, right click on any link in the store, and open it in a new tab. Then paste the eufy portal link, and connect

Same problem with a SoloCam S3, but obviously the camera doesn’t matter.
First it worked with Firefox, then it didn’t, I think because I tweaked some security settings:

So I tried with Opera, and it worked.
Now if only I could trace back the change…

Edit: Oops, Opera fails as well now.

I got this working in Chrome by disabling a few settings.

  1. Type Chrome://flags into the address bar of chrome and hit enter.
  2. In the search flags box type webrtc.
  3. Disable WebRTC PQC for DTLS
  4. Disable Anonymize local IPS exposed by WebRTC

Thank you very much for this hint.
Now that I know what to look for, I read that WebRTC can be a problem with Firefox, and maybe even something is broken.
Firefox does not have this specific WebRTC PQC control, and add-ons on the subject have not been officially supported or recommended.
I think I will stick to Opera for this task, which runs flawlessly, and sometimes even faster than on the smartphone.
Edit: Sorry again - I remember now I installed LDPlayer as Android emulator, and using Eufy with that runs quite smoothly.

Which version of LDPlayer did you use? I tried this and when I ran the Eufy app I never got past the splash screen.

In case you’re interested you can do something similar in FireFox by doing the following:

  1. Enter about:config in the address bar
  2. Search for media.webrtc.enable_pq_hybrid_kex and set it to false.
  3. Restart all instances of FireFox.

Let’s see what I can find out…
I think I had that same problem with MEmu, and that was the reason to try LDPlayer.
Currently I have version 14.0.25.2, but I see there is 14.0.29.0 available.
Settings that I remember changing are:
Display- Smartphone 1080 x 1920 (DPI 480), rotate automatically ( this is THE great plus compared to the smartphone when viewing clips maximized).
Model- Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 (because I have an S9 smartphone)
Otherwise I can’t remember a setting or a problem… maybe I installed it twice because of initiating problems?
Now I am afraid to update the version…

I installed version 9 initially because version 14.x said it was a “beta” version. I will try that version later and see if it works.
