When I am at home I receive notification for the door being unlocked. When I am away from home I don’t receive any notification. My app is set to allow notification.

Check your Away settings in the Security Modes.
See if notifications box is checked.
Open the app, tap on the security 
near lower right bottom, select your device, tap on the Away settings.

Thank you for your suggestion. When I tap the security button. It asks me to set up my device. I have done it 4 times now including the finger print. I still do not have access to security. Battery is fully charged and wifi signal is great.

And then it tells you to set up the device? It shouldn’t be doing that.

When I click on the top shield it takes me to a protection page. The bottom security tab wants me add a device.
