I believe installing a security alarm feature would be a highly effective deterrent against potential intruders, especially one that emits a loud alert to scare them off immediately. Additionally, it would be beneficial to have a backup or offline functionality built into the system, so it remains operational even during internet outages. This ensures continuous protection and peace of mind regardless of connectivity issues.

Topic 2 - I would like to have a strobe and siren alarms available on my cameras. I use 4 solar Wall cameras and 3 S340s and they work well in that they fill in odd spaces and gaps.

We have just joined the Eufy family. We are super impressed with the quality, ease of use and AI features…would highly recommend

I’m a brand new eufy product owner, I haven’t had a chance to find out yet how long a battery could last, I have two eufy S330, and since the outdoor installation, one, the battery had been drained to 0 quickly, but for about 1 month, it’s been gaining 3% per day. so I think I won’t have to charge it at all  that’s great! and the second, it’s in a bad place (window edge inside) and it manages to stay at 40%. I can’t wait to install it in the final place!

Oh yeah, there was one night I really wished my camera was clearer. I caught someone creeping around my yard, but the video was grainy, I couldn’t tell if it was a shady stranger, my neighbor, or just a raccoon with an attitude lol. It was frustrating because I had proof something happened, but not enough detail to do anything about it.

Would live for the video image captured to be able to make out person’s face to identify them.

I have four indoor eufy cameras s350x2 and e30 x3 and have noticed a lot oF solicitors, door to door random people, amazon and mail delivery workers, ask well as some homeless come up to check out my front yard. I’d love to have a camera that alerts me right then and there when someone approaches my property. The cameras I have now sometimes mistake leaves moving in the wind as actual pets or humans. Doing this takes up all the memory/space and takes away from recording of potential threats or emergencies. I have a dog so she normally barks and that sometimes alerts the cameras, but not always. Having something more precise, reliable on LTE, and up to date with real-time, would be amazing. Security lighting would also help pinpoint intruders and get their clear faces on the camera recordings.

I have gotten couple of my Christmas decorations taken by kids and passer by and all 3 times I could not make clearly the face of the individual and only wish my camera had better or clearer video quality.

Cool

Cool :joy:

There was definitely a time I wished my camera had clearer video. A raccoon was raiding my bird feeder every night, but on the old footage it just looked like a shadowy blob with glowing eyes. I couldn’t tell if it was a raccoon, possum, or maybe a neighbor in a fur coat. Higher resolution makes all the difference when you’re trying to separate “wildlife” from “weird life.” :joy:

I have s340, floodlights, indoor cams and eufy smart locks and doorbells.. i love eufy products hope canada is included in their give away contests.

I like to win :grinning:

Besides recording, I would love my camera to be able to have customizable LED strobe lights as well as the ability to send voice alerts when certain activity is detected. I would like to have the ability to select specific colors so that the strobe lights could alert an intruder or unknown visitor when they are detected. Another great feature would be to pre-record a voice alert and have it play whenever an intruder or unknown visitor enters a specific area that the camera is filming.

For topic 2, I’d want a camera with motion detection, automatic alerts, and two-way audio to communicate with intruders. Night vision is essential for 24/7 monitoring, while a loud siren or strobe light could help scare off potential threats. For the strobe light, it would be great if the lights were bright colors that alternate while also having a loud siren go off at the same time.

I am using homebase 2 cameras for almost one year. To be honest, I am very happy to eufy cameras.
I used different cameras before but Eufy gave me peace of mind and felt more secure.

Not sure if the E42 red/blue lights would scare wildlife away, but that would be a option I’d like to have. If AI could identify large animals (including large birds) and scare them away would love it. Have a couple of small dogs and would save some anxiety when letting them out at night. As well as day as they love laying in the sun.

I have 2 eufy cameras both with solar panels, one in my back yard which almost never records since I don’t go back there and pne in my front door which records a lot through out the day and I only had to manually charge it one time last winner due to super cold weather and non stop snow so it might have went on couples days without sunlight, but after that I never had to manually charge it again.

I’d want strobe lights that disorient intruders, ultrasonic sound that makes the area uncomfortable, and a fake audio alert saying “the police are on the way” to scare them off. These features work together to create a strong psychological deterrent, making intruders think they’ve been caught and encouraging them to leave immediately without needing to rely solely on recording. Also a feature to automatically turn on my sprinklers
