Win the SoloCam E42 for Free! ☀️

Love my cameras and would always be willing to up grade. My S340 actually caught someone taking bottles and cans from my yard but it failed to track him. The camera does a get job of catching late night bunnies and the occasional cat, including our own doing their patrols. The backyard S340 does a good job of watching that portion, but what really shines is the solar power and wireless.

I recently left an abusive relationship (4 months ago) my very first night of being in my own place again, I ordered the eufy C220 and since ordered 2 e220’s. I couldn’t be more satisfied with all of them. Thank you eufy for being affordable and exceeding my expectations for the price

Good morning

A feature I’d love is more AI-driven threat detection. Instead of just notifying me about “human/ pet/other motion,” the camera could intelligently distinguish between normal activity, like a neighbor walking by or a pet in the yard, and suspicious behavior, such as someone lingering near doors or windows. The AI could then automatically escalate alerts, flash lights, or even call out a warning message if it detects genuine intruder-like behavior.

All the cameras are oke

Whouuu wat een mooie handige :movie_camera: CAMERA wie wil die nu niet winnen :trophy:

Other than recording i would love my camera to be able to be connected to an outdoor speaker that can blast a siren alert that is actually loud so that it can alert neighbors. Also if i am close with my neighbors i would like the camera to be able to somehow notify them too. Of course there will have to be some access sharing but this would also encourage everyone to have the same camera set up. I know there is racial recognition but I want it to take everyone who comes photo and allow me to name them and notify me specifically when they come to my property

:two: Besides recording, what other features would you love your camera to have for deterring intruders?

If I had to suggest additional ways to deter intruders, one option would be an audio alert stating, “You are being monitored." Another useful feature could be for the cameras to detect movement at night, when everyone is asleep, and automatically signal my Eufy smart locks to secure both the front and back doors. This would give me peace of mind, knowing that even if I accidentally left a door unlocked, the system would take care of it. Improved night vision quality and higher frame-rate recording would also greatly enhance the overall user experience in detecting the identity of intruders.

I’ve had my car damaged by a racist neighbour but didn’t have a cans so could not prove it.

So I currently have 3 solar panel lights and I did find myself tweaking some settings last year in the dark winter months (in the uk) in order to prevent going offline, settings such as AI tracking sensitivity, and duration of recording, or activating the cut off recordings early setting. Essentially I would just put it in a slightly less responsive state and watch on a reasonably nice day it charge back up no problem and found I could revert my settings back before I knew it. They mostly held their charge unless it was an absolute miserable few days and randomly lots of foot traffic for example. I’d also turn off AI vehicle detection to reduce alerts. Overall, if still functioned within my expected parameters just no frills, but only found myself do this say, 2/3 times and mostly on the one camera which appears to struggle more so with charging than the others. All use the same external solar panel mounted. All in all, they are very worthwhile to protect my property and overlook my car which I cannot see well from my house. And now it’s been well over a year I’ve not took down a single camera to charge, with my battery doorbell as exception, and that only once or twice. :grimacing:

Yes, there has definitely been a time when I wished my security camera had clearer video quality. The whole purpose of a security camera is to provide peace of mind and evidence if something goes wrong, but when the video is grainy or blurry, it can make the footage almost useless. For example, one time I checked my camera because I noticed unusual movement outside late at night. The video clearly showed that someone was near my car, but the quality was so poor that I couldn’t make out their face, clothing, or even what exactly they were doing. That left me frustrated because while I knew something suspicious had happened, I didn’t have enough detail to identify the person or provide helpful evidence if I needed to report it.

Another situation was during the day when a delivery was made to my house. The camera picked up the driver leaving the package, but again, the resolution was so low that I couldn’t even read the company logo on the van or see the label on the box. If the package had gone missing, I wouldn’t have had clear enough video to help figure out what happened.

I have several eufy products and I love them all. I wish the audio on my camera was better.

I’m not sure what I can do to win this, but I could absolutely use this

OK, I understand it now. Oh yes, I absolutely need something like this. I don’t wanna get into my situation too deep but let’s just say it would be absolutely used.

Is there really anything today in this day and age with a crime the way it is especially online people post post but that’s not really them. You never know what you’re gonna get so be careful and it’s good to have eyes behind your head.

I like my 4 s220 but having some battery problems.eufy support are on the case and keeping me updated.id love to try other solar cameras :grinning:

There have been several times when having clearer video footage would’ve made a big difference. I’ve had items stolen from my property, and neighbors have had their cars broken into. Clear video—especially at night—is essential. Being able to see facial features, clothing colors, and license plates is a must. Eufy cameras definitely deliver excellent video quality :grinning:

I have a couple of S330s set up on the front specifically to catch illegal drivers. We get a lot of them. While the general 4k video looks OK at anything more than 40 feet, reading the license plate is a real pain. I hope Eufy develop an add-on lens kit with, say, x2 optical magnification so the camera can catch the plates better.
As both cameras get a lot of traffic (sorry for the pun!), I’ve had to add a 3W panel to them as the provided solar is not up to the job and the charge deletes in a week or so.
All a surprise, as my iPhone takes 4k video that is crystal clear and reads license plates at over 100 feet. Wondering whether the sensor in the S330 is interpolated to 4k? Any thoughts on how to improve the performance will be welcome.

My Solo S340 went 9 months without needing a manual charge. We had a birthday party which lasted through the night. We have numerous cameras and I didn’t pause them so they recorded all day. It was nearly depleted and we decided to manually charge because it was to be cloud and tan for a few days.
