After the recent app update, I noticed there was some delay in event notifications. Is it just me, or is anyone else experiencing this?
If others face this same issue, then I would like to report it to Eufy support.

They’re having non-stop issues with updates since February 2025. Every new update seems to make things worse I don’t know who these people are that are being paid too create these updates but they’re not doing a very good job driver

Yes, the version 5 upgrade for Android was pretty bad. I had delay notifications, lost night vision on many of my cameras, could not connect to other cameras, and was not able to get a camera out of sleep mode (except by resetting the camera, which I cannot do when I’m not at my cabin).
The solution was to go back to version 4. Everything instantly worked great once I did that!!
The same issue here, i do not have a homebase, a stand alone eufy, power connected, it worked as a sharm , but the notifications are NOT delivered anymore! I will try to go back to previous release, only android or also eufy?
I have been having constant issues with new videos not loading. I know there have been events, but they don’t show up. Even after refreshing and force quitting the app. Seems like it takes a while and later they are available…
Thanks for the info and link. I’ve had so many different issues, ongoing for a while now. I keep thinking these things are just me… I think I might follow your lead. I cannot seem to open the link, but will try another way.
I’ve got similar issue. More randomly, maybe is just the internet provider that is not working well

How did you go back to 4? Support told Me it wasn’t possible when I asked them.
Are you referring to apk mirror? Touching it doesn’t do anything for me. I guess it is dead now.
Yes I to have had some issues on my iPhone slow notifications and sometimes not even detecting me when I’m right in front of the camera and sometimes cameras don’t connect. Other times it’s fine. I’m just starting to get used to it and constantly restarting the cameras or the home base
Yes, I downloaded the v4 APK to my phone, installed the “APKMirror Installer” app, and then used that to get back to v4.

Not only does my night vision turned purple.
But also I get a delay in notification, But.
During the winter my solar camera got water damage From the ice in the snow which I had my camera professionally installed.
And now it doesn’t cut on unless it’s plugged up But even then it says Batteries at full charge and keeps cutting off. When connected to the solar panel, it just doesn’t work. I have 3 cameras, and each 1 has 1 or 2 things wrong with it.huh stressfull
Android more delayed than iOS. Also super delayed at opening the videos…person is gone by the time it opens.
Same here, delayed notifications. First time here to this community because I was searching to find out if my phone must be connected to the same wifi as the camera before I can receive notifications (seems that would defeat the purpose). Seems this delayed notification issue is more likely the culprit of what I’m experiencing. I’m within my 30 days of purchase and may return it if this is not resolved.
