Anyone else have a problem like this? Will not connect and play live video from my doorbell cam. It just hangs on connection. It will record events and play them but no live view at all
It will not connect. It goes to 0 kbs and hangs. I’m not impressed with this at all.
how far are you from the WiFi and if you’re signals weak you may need to get a extender to boost the signal
Nope. I am less than 10 feet away. It worked fine last week. No it will not connect. It will show video that it recorded just fine. Just no live view.
doorbell has been re started, removed and re installed. App deleted and reinstalled. Noting seems to solve this problem. Eufy help has not been helpful that’s why I posted to the community
is it battery powered or wired?
Yes I’m having the same problem, I get a notification and then when I click on it nothing happens.
It may need to be updated. I would try restarting it also
Is the firmware up to date? I had this issue but after firmware update it has gone away
Try putting your streaming on auto and your recording at 1080… then try 2k if it has it…
Talking about the recording rez… 1080/2k…
Are you using your phone to view or are you on a computer…
Maxed out storage on any device will slow it diwn and cause impaired functions…
It happens to me sometimes with my regular cameras & I just have to clear the app from my phone’s recently used app list (3 horizontal bar icon), then open up the app again.
Yh it’s so delayed with Homebase direct wifi is faster
On Droid: Force the Eufy app to close by first going to Information then choose Force Stop. Then open the Eufy app again and it will connect properly.
Re set your router
I did most of the things suggested. I was using an Iphone and the app. I reset the streaming to auto and bumped the recording down to 1080. Seems to be working when i tested it. I’ll have to see how it goes
thanks for the tip I wonder what the auto steaming does? It seemed to not be doing this on my wife’s iphone
Just a few minutes later. App is hung again. The kbs go up and down and then fall to 0.0 and that’s it. It seemed to do it when i zoomed in. The other door camera works just fine. It is a c30.
Delete the camera from the base, then reconnect. Prior, make sure camera is updated, and reset your router and wifi.
