Anyone else hav

Anyone else having event clips disappear? My Setup: Homebase 3 w/ 5TB harddrive, (4) E340 Floodlight Cams, (1) E340 Doorbell Cam. All set to record events & 24/7 Continuous. I leave my house early every morning and get event clips so I know my departure was captured. I also receive 20+ notifications throughout the day of passing cars.

However, if I check the clips in the evening when I get home they are all gone.

However, the 24/7 continue footage is still there, however the events aren’t marked.

Looking for solutions or cause.

It m8ght be that you have it on continues recording… Try putting it back on optimal surveillance, or custom settings…

I don’t think it’ll record both events and continuous recordings at the same time…
I think it’s one or the other… that’s just my guess…

Thanks for your reply, there is an option to record events only or continuously & events.
I’ll try setting one of my cameras to events only to see if that changes anything.

thanks

Well, I found the culprit. My wife was was deleting the event clips thinking she was deleting the notifications.
I’ll have to take responsibility for not understanding how the permissions work. Or maybe Eufy needs to needs to better define them.

All my events have disappeared also however I don’t have the continuous recording feature on only events, but it’s saying tethers have been no events recorded in the last month other than the current day but when I check again the following day they have disappeared and only events from this current day are there! It’s weird and only started happening in the last couple of weeks :exploding_head:

Ya no oroblem, that info you posted is good to know… I wouldn’t mind having continuous recording myself… I got a 1 TB SSD put in and haven’t even knocked a chip out of it… it still shows about the same amount of storage as when I put it in…
I just picked up an E30 flood light cam, hopefully it has continuous recording it…
Say, on them cameras you got set up for continuous recording, did you have to add a micro chip in the camera…

Yes, E30 Floodlight will do continuous recording. Sounds like you have a Homebase w/ 1TB drive installed so no micro SD needed.

Well I’ve pieced it together little by little… All from ebay…
I’ve picked up what ever I can get on the cheep… but they all tend to work quote well…
I picked up a few cameras, the first being a video DB pack with HB2, then a couple S220’s and 2 spotlight=S230’s.
Then I decided ultimately I’m going to need a HB3 right…, so got that and then I picked up a WD 1 TB SSD for around 60 bucks, off ebay as well…
So far I’ve had pretty good luck with all my purchases… currently running 10 cameras… HB3 with 1TB, and a HB2 that the doorbell runs off… it’s kind of wild but it all works…
I’m going to replace the S340 I got setup in front, and put an E30 floodlight, and put 340 on the side of my house were It gets a good street view as well…
That’ll make for 11 devices and I’m going to add a couple more, one in the garage and a back up cam in the front by the entrance door as a backup for the DB, as it needs to be taken down and charged from time to time…
Over all I’d say I’ve probably paid about half of what they sale retail just by vigorously shopping on eBay, I get them for wholesale… and so far had pretty good luck… :sunglasses: :sunglasses: :sunglasses:
