Camera detected someone walking by, acting like it was going to follow and then just stopped? How do I fix this?

I don’t have this camera so I’m not sure if it has the same settings but try restarting the camera and video settings >recording settings there is a option to stop recording if motion is no longer detected. I have it off and have recordings set to 2 minutes not sure if it helps

Try adjust the detection sensitivity to more high level.

Ensure that the motion detection zone covers the full area and that the sensitivity is set to max

I’ve got the same camera — actually two of them, one at my front door and one in the backyard.

I’ve set the sensitivity to the highest level as well, but I’ve found the tracking can be a bit temperamental at times. My activity zones are set specifically to cover my front garden and driveway, yet it still occasionally picks up people walking outside of those zones, which can be pretty frustrating.

Just a couple of days ago, it didn’t even detect me coming back into the house, so I definitely know what you mean!

Get the e340 floodlight. It’s much better with distance

Try to set Optimal Surveillance instead of Optimal Battery Life in Power Manager.
