Does anyone els

Does anyone else find the system struggles to identify different people. It thinks everyone is me. I’ve tried adding faces manually, adding once it sees someone, but always identifies the known person as everyone! I have a beard, my wife doesn’t, yet it seems not to realise that. Any tips, because other than that, I like the system, we have 4 cameras, a doorbell, vacuum and lights. So pleased Eufy combined everything into 1 app!

Yeah, I’ve definitely seen this too. It used to think every person was me, even when it was clearly my wife or someone else. What helped for me was a combination of better lighting and making sure the camera had a clear view of the face for at least a couple seconds. If the lighting is poor or the person is just walking by quickly, it seems to struggle a lot more.

I also made a habit of confirming or correcting the AI every time it got someone wrong. After a while, it actually started to improve and now it’s a lot more accurate for us.

Mine is about 99% accurate. I have about 20 known faces. Maybe it is a case of the time in days and samples it has gathered. How long have you had the homebase?

We’ve had it for about 9 months, but I got impatient, deleted all the data after a few months, it had amounted quite a bit, and haven’t given it a chance to start from scratch. We now have an internal camera, so I’m hoping it will have a better opportunity of learning.

I was confirming images, but got frustrated so decided to delete the few months of images. We have an internal camera now, so I’m hoping it will get better at recognising both of us. The other cameras do have good lighting conditions and clear views, so I’m not sure what’s not quite working. I’d have thought a few months would be long enough.
