The AI facial recognition is messing up!
It keeps saying that’s me in the video, but it’s not!
I’ve sent feedback, but I don’t know how to delete the picture or change the name of the person.

Out of interest, have you also provided the link I shared earlier regarding the AI misidentifications? This issue seems to go beyond a one-off problem — we’ve seen repeated instances where faces are either misidentified or not recognised at all, even after correcting the errors and donating the videos to the relevant team.
Unfortunately, despite these efforts, the same mistakes keep occurring. It would be great to know if there’s a more permanent fix in the works, as this is starting to undermine trust in the system.
To rename or delete a face, here’s the correct way to do it:
- Open the Eufy Security app
- Tap on the “Service” tab at the bottom
- Go to Face Management
- From there, you can edit or delete any saved face profiles
So what you are saying is that we have to delete our Face and re initiate the AI learning to remove one false identification?
Sounds like a reset is required!
