Does anyone kno

Does anyone know why my camera footage looks distorted like this? I have the IR setting turned on and spotlight turned off. I Don’t think it would be bugs because the camera doesn’t put out a bright light that I know of, Any suggestions?

You’re talking about them specs flying by??
If so, it’s just humidity/moisture in the air that’s being illuminated by the IR lights from night vision.

Is there a way for me to correct it?

Not sure about correcting it, though you could try turning off auto night vision and engaging the spotlights to turn on so that it will record in color.
Shouldn’t be too many bugs during the winter.
Or if you have enough lighting outside just turn off auto night vision and see how the picture looks.

Forgot to add.. see if turning down the sensitivity helps.

Mine did the same during a heavy fog. IR is reflecting off the fog droplets. I turned off the IR overnight and turned it back on the next day.

Looks like rain or snow to me..

I’m in the NW this happens every winter. Nothing to worry about. Turn off the IR it won’t show up as bad. I kinda think it’s cool to watch.

It appears to be dense fog. You may need to adjust your sensitivity level.
