Eufy Camera with Homebase 3 capabilities without Internet

Does home base 3 creates a local network which then used by cameras to record directly to home base storage without Internet?

Yes as that is more secure

Even if my internet and router is down eufy camera records and stores to the base ?

Yes

Yes, that’s how it works, but I believe it requires an active internet connection. I thought I read that if your internet is down it would not record…? I’ve never tried it as a local network only, but that would be great…

Yes it does

Test it out, remove the ethernet cable from your Wi-Fi router. Your Wi-Fi router will still transmit a Wi-Fi signal, though you won’t be able to use it to access the internet.

Then see if the cameras record to the HomeBase3.

You’ll need to reconnect the ethernet cable back to the Wi-Fi router, because you won’t be able to access the recorded videos on HB3 without a connection to the internet.

Yes
