No. You either don’t have the mobile app version 4.6.4 or the HB3 version 3.1.9.5 or both. Multiple people in the thread confirmed you need both for it to work.
If you check reddit.com/r/eufy you will see some people using VPNs to update from other regions, although I would caution that you may get different regional firmware.
iOS and Android stores also have different approval policies/queues etc so it may just be that the app has to be approved by Apple in each region - it’ll get there
If you are impatient like me, email support@eufylife.com and open a ticket. Explain to them you do not want to wait and would like the firmware pushed. Provide them the serial number of the HB3 you own. When they confirm that they will push it within “24-48 hours” it will actually come way sooner than that, like minutes.
There is nothing they can do about 4.6.4 since google/apple owns that schedule. However if you are like me, and already had 4.6.4 and no 3.1.9.5 then I suggest you do the above. It worked for me and I can finally use my doorbell!!
Hi, every time I contact eufy they said, it will be ready in 3 days its been 2 weeks and now they do not even telling the truth. I am wondering if the solution would be using legal advice to find out if at lease we can get our money back ($ I purchased homabase 3 and dual 2k doorbell cam$)
That’s odd. I got my firmware update almost a week before I received the app update. I’m in the U.S., so that might be the reason, if you’re in a different country.
San Diego, CA, got the IOS App update several days ago. Got Homebase 3.1.9.5 update about 10 minutes ago. Dual Cam doorbell paired with Homebase 3 easily and is set up and working. Took less than 5 minutes. I do not own a Homebase 2 so was a bit worried, but everything went very smoothly!

I tried many times to connect my duel doorbell to hb3 but it keeps asking for adding home base first!!
I’ve already contacted hb3 to Rudy security app but it didn’t recognize it.
No worries - at least we’re all getting what we expected (finally)
Now we just need ChromeCast functionality back
(FYI I have the USB dongle/chime that was working on my HB2 with the T8213, and it works with the HB3 fine - although it does stick out horizontally so is probably due a redesign!)
Yeah when I was installing the Chime there I noticed it said ‘Chime for HB2’ and I expected the worst. Fortunately everything is good although I do think there is a 1-2 second delay to both doorbell ring and notification on my phone. Hoping that improves with time.
Good to see its finally here and working but its now broken the known faces notification so iam now getting notified of everything.
