I am using the homebase 3 with the eufycam E330 (professional) it worked great for about 5 months but for the last 2 months the homebase would show —gb/1tb and the ai detection, recording, and notifications will not work. The only way to get to work is to restart the device and it will work for 30 minutes to 4 hours then the storage will be —gb/tb again. Is it a bad drive or something else?
It could possibly be a bad drive, you say you do a restart of the HB3 and then it starts working again, so the drive gets powered off and then gets turned back on. It works for a while then you have the same issue.
Sounds as though the drive is malfunctioning or possibly having a heat issue.
See how the HB3 operates without the drive installed.
Though I guess the only way to rule out the hard drive is to replace it.![]()
