Floodlight Cam Doesn’t Work

I installed our new floodlight cam last night, and everything was working. It recorded events, and I could see the live feed.

Overnight, the firmware was updated (not sure if that’s related).

This morning, the cam stopped working altogether. I can’t view the feed, it doesn’t record events when I walk past, and changing settings or toggling the light is hit or miss. It was great signal from the router, which is just on the other side of a wall/window.

It’s acting like it keeps power cycling. I see the IR sensor come on, the LED lights up red, then it lights up white after a little while. Shortly after, I hear a click and it starts over.

I’ve tried resetting the router and the camera. I’ve set it on a static IP. Also unpaired and repaired the camera. I’ve tried a number of other possible solutions I’ve found online, but it just doesn’t work.

I want to factory reset the unit to see if the firmware is the issue, but I can’t figure out how. I found online to hold the sync button while turning the camera on, but that doesn’t work. The flood lights come on until I let go of the button, no matter how long I hold it first, but it doesn’t reset the camera.

This is my first Eufy product. Not off to a great start. Any suggestions?
