Floodlight cam e340 homebase connection issue

I have been using e340 and homebase for about 2 years. Recently I notice the serious log issue caused by WiFi connection. (or this happened before that I just didn’t notice.) I have e340 configure wifi connected to wifi extender(tried both 2.4G and 5G) and it will work very good, no lagging. But the camera unpredictably change wifi connection to homebase, which is a little far from the camera, and due to poor signal I guess, the connection turns bad, serious lagging and sometimes can’t connect. I need to manually change conigure wifi to extender, sometime very had because of poor homebase connection. But sometime it changes back to extender automatically, very randomly.

I have all firmware, app updated. I tried reset both e340 and homebase. I’m using xfinity xfi gateway, tplink ac1200 wifi extender, eero 6 router and extender. Both this happens on both tplink and eero. I can’t move homebase close to e340 because on the other side of my house I have a solocam s340, which can only connect to homebase.

This issue really frustrate me for a month. I hope anyone can help me with or have any solutions for this. Really appreciate that!

It’s the HomeBase 3 that decides whether to use your home’s Wi-Fi or its own internal Wi-Fi for the Multi-Bridge connection based on signal strength between the cameras also data load comes into play with that too.
They need to put in an option so the camera doesn’t switch back to the HB3.

Are you able to move the HB3 further away from the e340s while still having a good connection to your s340 and or maybe after that connect the closest e340 just to the HB3 only.
