Here is another

Here is another example of my camera in the preset wide view setting. Why is it not tracking his movement and dropping down to follow him despite my settings set to Ai tracking?

Do you have your activities zone set to capture that lower area?

Hi, AI Tracking is designed to track humans, vehicles, and pets, but it does not track general movement. The human in this video is too small and incomplete to be identified as a human, so it didn’t trigger the AI Tracking.

It may help save the battery charger over time, too.

Mind don’t always track ether… set on high during the day… all the way to 7 and just have human only… No pets, vehicles or anything else…
Your main concern should be if someone’s trying to burglarize your house or steal your cars and property…

Yes I do.

Well it is a human, but only a part, so that would make sense.

This is why I’m concerned as he was stealing a vehicle plate.

No not good as he got away stealing the neighbor’s vehicle plate.

Yrs but this was a time I needed it to capture this thief.

I see that. I’m glad the Floodlight Pro 2 does not have this problem. It has IR sensors and rotates to look in the direction of any movement. Then follows. It’s creepy good.

Reset the camera by holding the sync button for 10 seconds and re-pair it. Check motion detection settings and firmware, or try moving it to another spot. If the issue persists, contact Eufy support for help or a replacement.
