HOMEBASE 3 not recording 24/7

Hello, i have bought the same set the end of november. When i installed the cameras i got a firmware update. Then start the trouble. I think they have delete great lot of futures in the version 1.0.4.1. I am for a month communicate with Anker support, but there is still no solution. So I think the option for 24 recording is also deleted in this firmware.
I have a 1 TB Crucial SSD and that works perfect, so far
Question: can You change your timestamp into 24H notation? thats one of the thinks i can not do.
Greetings from The Netherlands

Hello @oce227,

I am able to change my timestamp to 24h.

OkƩ, what is the firmware on your camera"s?

Hi, I don’t have that camera, but that’s weird why would they remove the 24-H timestamp option with a firmware update??

Is it not listed in the General Settings of the camera?

Ya you can change the same way in home base… but do both the camera and HB just to make sure everything’s synced…

Just FYI WD is what Eufy includes in their home kits so it sure to work… you can check that out in there kits including sata drives…

Yes, it is weird, 2 cams E330 have several problems. The homebase 3 has a 24 h notation the s100 wall lamp cam as well, but don’t want write it on the saved movies

These are screenshots from the live views en from a recording also very weird.

The homebase is 24h. That is not the problem…
I think it is just a firmware problem.
Into the E330 cams

The one on the bottom is from continues…
How you work is you go to the time frame from your events you want to go over and you use the slide to got to that time frame to see the before and after screens to see if you missed anything…
I don’t have continuous rec. Set up yet but I think you can cut out the clips from that slide on the bottom to get the whole clip of anything you want to include on an event…

No sorry, you are wrong at the bottom is the recorded activity file.
The wallcam will also not record 24 hours.
I have no oppertunity to change that.
It’s very weird overall.
I have contact with Anker support en they even do’nt know.

Ya Like I said I haven’t got set up yet but if you dig into it that’s how I understood it to he…
Maybe you should start a post of your own so everyone can see it and she’d more light on the topic…

I think that i will do that

Sorry, @medicguy, I kind of ā€œhijackedā€ your topic. Unfortunately I can’t get any further here. On the advice of @LAD1091 I’m going to start a new topic myself.
Thanks everyone so far for thinking along.

@Lad1091 I have bought a Samsung 870 EVO 2TB and installed it. Now it apparently works!

So, for other people in the future:

  • the SEAGATE BARRACUDAs does not work in the HB3
  • the SAMSUNG 870 EVO 2TB does work (so far)
I will update the thread in a couple of days to update.

Thanks for al lthe help!

Love it, that’s :+1: great…

Sorry dude, can’t help you but if you want everyone to no how you fixed it, maybe you should start a new tread…

If the drive works in a computer, it’s what the other person said, the HD draws more electrical current than the Homebase supports. It presumably has a peak current draw over 1.2 amps. Solid state drives have no motors and moving parts like a hard drive, so they don’t draw much current.
