In the past month or two there was an update to the Eufy mobile app which (amongst other things) changed the background colour of the home screen from blue to white. Since then I have noticed a significant deterioration in the responsiveness of the app. I see the “spinning wheel of doom” much more often and for extended periods. Swithcing between security modes often fails completely. Is this just me or is it a well known general issue?

Everything was good for awhile for me after updating wondered what everyone was complaining about then it was my turn for issues today was bad nothing worked no live view not able to watch events, no detection ,so I unplugged the home base for a few minutes then plugged back in seemed to help for now. Won’t know till tonight if I get detections on my cameras watching for wildlife I was always getting something but recently it stopped and I know there out there. As for the background color if you tap on your avatar profile (top left) go down to settings then color theme then you can choose dark mode, light mode, or automatic. That’s still working on the app

I have not yet updated the app and I’ve been having more and more issues. I’ve been seeing the spinning wheel of death a lot. Sometimes can’t get a page or screen to load at all. So the app update may have caused your issues, but it really seems like there is something going on beyond that. Lately I’ve had hb and camera issues, too, so seems like there might be something going on system wide…

Yeah something is going on for sure. I went awhile without any issues but now having more and more of a variety of different things hopefully it gets resolved my critter cameras are not getting any pet or human detections anymore they have to be set to all motions and now a leaf or shadow sets it off. I’m going to try removing them from the app and reinstalling hopefully that doesn’t cause me more grief
