I understand thank you!
I have the homebase connected to a wireless router with far better range just the homebase doesânt use the routers signal to connect to the cameras. But if I use the cameras without the homebase, just on there own they connect through the wireless router just fine. As soon as I try to connect to the homebase they are to far away.
To add to my other reply. One of the major issues is that my house has steel siding making it more difficult for wireless signals to outside.
By the looks of that you might have Buy another hub or you have to move hub closer to the cameras
Cant move closer its right in the middle but I will look into another hub and what that intells or if it will even work with 2 homebases.
I had one indoor cam connected to homebase and the other was doing exactly what you are referring to. I had to change the connection. So I actually re-synced (deleted it from the account then added device). When it gave me the initial choice, I elected the homebase to connect to first in that list of three (wouldnât give me that connect option otherwise) then after I selected to connect to the homebase, then it asked for the network ⌠put that info in and then it showed up in my home. like the other.

I will try following those instructions
I tried to follow these instructions but I had to put it back to the way I had it because it didnât work. If I connect to the homebase and then add my network the cameras donât use the wireless routers to connect to the homebase but try to connect directly. (my cameras are to far and go through steel siding on my house). This might not work because of the model cameras I have. I just donât know.
Sounds like the distance is the problem. May want to consider using a wired camera or a signal booster. I know my camera bounces to my wireless carrier sometimes and I donât know why. It gives you that warning that itâs using your cell provider. Whatâs strange is that they all are connected to a private network to even get into the Homebase3. They may need a better wireless signal transmitter for Homebase3 itself. I know my doorbell says Iâm using the cell service to view it once in a while an that isnât connected to the router at all. Only to homebase which is direct connected to the router. Makes no sense to me. Good luck! A booster or using a wired cam may be your only hope.
Your probably right but it will have to be for now I canât afford to change it right now. So it will have to be until I can get more funds to change it.
Can you return it and try their other security cameras?
I know thereâs a certain amount of days you can return the item.
No I bought them about a year before getting the homebase3 so that isnât an option for me but thanks for the thought.
