Hi. I have a 4 camera system with an S380. I fitted the hard drive. I formatted it. Nothing. My mate who’s very clever discovered online that someone suggested inserting it while the S380 was on its side. I could then see the hard drive was working. I’ve now stood it up and it can’t been seen anymore. I’m going to re-install it again on its side. Has anyone else had problems getting hard drive to work? Thank you.

No I haven’t but make sure it is unplugged when removing and installing it and that it is screwed into the support bracket/ holder and it clicks in when installing then wait 2 minutes before plugging it in
