in comon with many manufactures i understand, Eufy have made a product that is not secure. In order to create some security, they are dumping the job on owners. Im absolutly furious, that both my camera were disabled by the demand for a pin, but actually told me the battery were flat. IO knew I had charged tem in november, but i got out the ladder, in the colds, climbed up, unscrewed the camera and took it to the charger.
I came bake to the demand for a pin, sorted that out, but it was not straightforward - there is a sidebar on the left side of the app main page, you access it by pressing the three lines. Once I had a pin i entered it and low and behold the camersa I had taken down jumped back to life.
One thing is absolutly certain, I will not recommend this cam. It has too many flaws, has to be checked very frequently and not just for the battery, but to see whether Eufy have turned it off because they have a problem. Its dark here in the UK, Ive got to go climb my ladder again.
The Eufy system is falling apart - I used to like using PC to monitor camera view as well - now we have been dumped on from a great heightâŚ
I tried this a few times, entered the PIN and could not look at any of the cameras, kept timing out and failing to connect to cameras⌠Eufy system is falling to pieces before our eyes, and I just got extra cameras for our system and can only monitor then via phone appâŚ
Tried it too. My Security app is the latest version 4.8.2_2026 (EU) but when I enter the generated safety pin it is refused as being wrongâŚHow to proceed?
Very unhappy. Just arrived overseas for a month, I ONLY have my laptop with me. I want to view and manipulate my security camera system. CANâT DO IT !!??
The side at is located in the web portal you have to go to eufy .com first once in device view the sidebar is accessible
Within the Control Center, locate the option specifically named Web Portal Access or something similar. This setting allows you to enable access Geometry Dash Free to view your cameras through a web browser.
Does Eufy even read these forums? Is there a plan to get web portal working without needed a stupid key every 24 hours so I can set up a monitor for them? If not, I need to find a new manufacturer.
I just got a eufy cam and going to the web portal option in the app to enable it is simple enough. The problem IâM having is that after 5 minutes, the stream times out and I have to click on it again on the browser. I have tried two different browsersâŚsame result.

Hi all, for those having issues with Enabling Web Portal Access. Open your app and thereâs a profile pic and your sign-in name in the upper left corner of the app. Click the picture and it will bring up the sidebar control center and there you can enable the Web Portal Access. There is no sidebar on the web Portal you have to go into your phone app.

Because someone using the web portal (and you all might want to sit down for this if you work for eufy) If theyâre using the web portal they might not have access to their phone.

So with the new update, where is the control center to generate a web portal access code, now?
Iâm here in Jan 2025 on iOS with the same issue as Iâd like to set up viewing on a PC and iMac. I see someone resolved it by logging out of tts mobile app & logging back in. Iâll try that.
Profile Pic > Settings > Security > Web Portal Access.
This is not intended for open ended access though, it is time boxed to a max of 24 hours. If you want it logged in and to stay logged in you will need to pair it with some form of HomeKit/Alexa/Google Home/Home Assistant etc. etc.
Use you Phone apps to solve the live view camera on PC. These are steps to follow.
After log in to eufy app from your phone. At main page. look at top left where picture with your systemâs name.
Main Page - Tap on Picture - this will bring in Sidebar
From Sidebar Tap on âSettingâ
From Setting Tap on âSecurityâ
From Security Tap on âWeb Portal Accessâ
From Web Portal Access âSelect enableâ
Then need to select time viewing duration up to 24H.
If Choose Live view valid time Tap on â24 Hoursâ if want live pictures 24 HRS
Tap on âGenerate a Safety Pinâ
Enter this 6 numbers pin on the desktop. Click on play button you should see live video. If screen black out or spinning you may need to check internet specially wifi connections âBandwithâ.
Hope This help. And I agree eufy need to cut this mess off just simplify thing please.
We paid for this already donât need jump to all these step to get new pin each time looking at live view.
