How to store recordings to the personal cloud?

Won’t work unless you download the video to your phone and the upload to cloud drive from there.

Really? What a weird concept. Hope they are planning to enable this option asap.

Eufy has a cloud service separately available

If you could do that, then you wouldn’t want to pay for eufy’s cloud storage.

Have you tried just using the internal storage on your Homebase? It has a pretty good bit of space. Also, I seem to recall the ability to attach an external hard drive, but I could be remembering wrong.

Homebase does not have the ability to attach external storage of any kind locally. Its been promised for years, but Homebase 2 doesn’t have the hardware to do on the fly decryption to external storage, while still doing its normal job. Supposedly, this was going to be fixed by a promised Homebase 3, but its never materialized. Eufy wants everyone to move to their cloud service so don’t expect any local storage options.

You can automatically download to a synology drive using surveillance station app and then view on phone. Haven’t fully tested but seems to work OK…

Streaming to NAS and then setup a cloud backup seems to be the way to go. This does mean that the footage isn’t stored in the Homebase at all though and therefore not accessible via the app.
