Problems after sofware update

It’s all well and good promising an update mid march, but I pretty much do not have a working security camera system until then thanks to the last update.
Middle of the night I thought I heard a noise out the back of my house so I thought I would check the camera. 35 minutes later and I have not managed to get the camera to play video. I have cleared the cache lots of times and even rebooted my phone twice during that time. I have restarted the app over and over and that takes 13-15 seconds each time to just start the app now. Absolute rubbish!!!
In the end I went out the back and my Dog went out with me and we didn’t even trigger the camera, as we would have always done before this update.
Eufy…Give us the previous version as an update until you fix this mess.

I’ve been in touch with Eufy customer support over this issue with the February update. Latest e.mail this morning advised me that a further update was made via Eufy app last friday (7th March) to address the issues. I checked the play store but the most recent app was from 10th February which I think is the culprit. The guys in customer support have tried to be helpful and even sent a replacement doorbell/chime for some reason. Fingers crossed this gets sorted soon as both my cctv and videodoorbell are just not working as they should. Once it’s stable I’m going to prevent automatic updates of the App!

Same hete, no recent update available. One doorbell has no sound at all, the second doorbell has two-way audio.
I think the one doorbell is broken. Hope they will release the new update very soon!

6th of march last update to 5.0.30_6676, But camera’s load slow or not at all, doorbell not responding and if started the app many times no devices found…3 camera’s and doorbell worked fine untill last update. and again its not the wifi (1000mbit) connection i know for sure !!! so don’t even start about rebooting the modem…were not stupid…

A lot of us have version 5.0 for a month now and everybody has problems. Eufy promised to release a new update mid March!

Another thing that’s not working is the battery charging progress indicator. Before it used to show the battery power percentage, but nothing now.

That’s the only thing that still works over here…

My mistake, that function does still work…
I had two cameras to charge and mixed the cameras up by mistake. I was checking the charging progress on the one that wasn’t even charging.
Like you said, that’s about the only thing that does still work properly.

Terrible update. Where did the face management go? It was under “Automation” but now it’s gone…

Way too many redundancies in the app. Need to simplify the UX.

Looking forward for it

I am looking for my 2 miniature schnauzers, Gideon and Nahum. I live at 2917 Hayes St. If you see them can you call 469-693-5795.

Maybe you should put the city you live in and the country there’s only possibly hundreds of thousands of people across the continent who have these cameras

5.0.6710 now nothing changed still notifications after 10-15 minutes terrible

It seems to be a widespread problem but not affecting everyone. My wife has a newish phone and everything works fine. With my phone the app is totally unstable. We’ll just have to wait till Anker sort the glitches with their App. Exactly the same happened in Nov 2023 following an update to the App-this was resolved in 21 days with an App update. Fingers crossed!

My app works but now when I get in the app I have to refresh the main page sometimes several times to see my arm/disarm buttons at the top. I thought this new update 5.0.31_6710 would fix it but nope.
