Hi there I have the eufy s330 4K 4 camera system and I note they are no longer Charing in direct sunlight? I believe all my settings and positioning of the Carreras is correct; any help would be greatly appreciated. I have had these for about 1 month now (Jan 2025)
I understand you’re having trouble with your solar panel charging - that must be frustrating! Let me help you troubleshoot this step by step. First, could you check if the solar panel is properly connected to your camera? Sometimes the cable can work itself loose over time, which prevents charging. Just give it a firm but gentle push to make sure it’s seated correctly. Are you getting good sunlight where the panel is mounted? I know this might seem obvious, but the panel really needs direct sunlight to work effectively. Even partial shade or cloudy days can significantly reduce charging. You might want to look around during different times of the day to find a spot that gets the most sun. I also recommend taking a quick look at the panel itself - sometimes leaves, dirt, or bird droppings can block the sunlight. A simple wipe with a clean cloth can make a big difference! How’s your camera’s battery health looking in the Eufy app? If you’re noticing the battery isn’t holding a charge like it used to, that could be part of the problem. While we’re checking things in the app, let’s make sure your firmware is up to date. This can actually fix charging issues sometimes! Just open your Eufy Security app and check for any available updates.
Do you have the regular charging cable handy? It would be helpful to try charging the camera directly just to rule out any battery issues. If it charges fine with the cable but not the solar panel, we’ll know where to focus our attention. One last thing to consider - has the weather been particularly hot or cold lately? Extreme temperatures can affect charging performance. What’s the weather been like in your area?
Let me know what you find after checking these things, and we can figure out next steps together!
A faulty unfit for purpose Eufy/Anker product? Surely not?!

It would if it wasn’t directly wired inside
Your reply doesn’t really make much sense. A product can be faulty/unfit for purpose regardless of how they’re connected
