S380 Basestation 4days setup - offline?

I bought Eufy S380 Basestation with 2x S340 cameras on 10/11-Jul-2025. I installed the basestation on ethernet, connected both cameras and everything has been great over the weekend until today, total of +4days since my purchase and setup.

This evening 15th July the S380 Basestation has gone offline and wont come back online.

I noticed the ethernet port leds on the back of the device are both off, showing no active ethernet connection (yellow led) or traffic (green led) and the basestation has a perminent red led on front.

I have followed all support pages below:

https://service.eufy.com/uk/search?q=HomeBase%20S380%20(HomeBase%203)%20lost%20netwrok%20connection
https://service.eufy.com/uk/article-description?ref=uk%2Fsearch&urlName=S380-HomeBase-HomeBase-3-Goes-Offline

Including your final support page of Removing the Basestation from the Eufy Security app and re-adding guide:

https://support.eufylife.com/s/article/Setting-Up-eufy-S380-HomeBase-HomeBase-3-in-the-eufy-Security-App

When re-adding the device the steps tell you to power off the device and plug in the ethernet cable (as did originally) and wait for the led on the front to go RED to BLUE. It never does and just flashes RED continuously after no amount of time.

I recheck the rear of the basestation and the ethernet port still shows NO LED lights.

Is this a common issue, doesn it mean my basestation ethernet connection on the device has gone faulty?

I have emails support also but hoping their is a self service fix community can advise?

Thanks for any help/assistance in advance.

Can you try it with another ethernet cable or select a different port on the back of your router?
If you’re unable to do that, then disconnect the ethernet cable from the back of the HB and connect it to a notebook or PC to see if the connection is working to rule out an issue with the cable or your router.

Thanks for the suggestion.

Yes already tried thanks.

Im IT engineer so have tried, 7x different cables, all 4 router ports as network the house. Have spares

Also test same cables and router ports with 2x laptops and all work fine.

Thus my deduction is the basestation port is faulty.

Also tried the factory reset hole but did nothing. Front led just flashes RED idenfinatley :frowning:

I had the exact problem with my S380 this morning. It turns out my ethernet switch was faulty. I had my computers on the same switch but I never noticed it because my computers all have wifi. Just thought I share that.

Thanks for the suggestion.

I did also have it through my main network switch, but moved it to the Router to make sure had straight ethernet connection from Basestation to the Router. Tried each router port too but sadly no change, just flashing RED led on front.

I guess it’s borked, you still have the 12 month factory warranty on it.
You can initiate it through the app.

Just checking, when you did the factory reset, you held it down for 10 to 15 seconds and the flashing red light would not stop flashing? Should have turned solid red then later to blue.

Just a thought, try it again but without the hard drive installed if you have one in it.
