Can a S340 camera be synced to HomeBAse3 without first syncing to the router?

Is there any disadvantage (or advantage) to syncing a S340 camera with ONLY the HomeBase3?

Hi yes, you can connect your S340 camera directly to your router, or connect your S340 camera to Homebase3 then Homebase3 connecting to the router.
