Ive got two outdoor eufy pro cams recording events but not showing ‘on’ in my app!
Gracias.
I downloaded an earlier version of the application that you indicated (5.0.22 from February 19) and now it works. I hope the support department will quickly identify what the problem is.
I’m having the same issues it’s so annoying
Eufy Please Fix
Same issue here - with 4 Outdoor Cams. 4 other Cams working fine.
I have contacted Anker support. After many emails, I informed support that the new app version is apparently faulty. I uninstalled my Eufy Security app and installed the old 4.9. All functions are working correctly again. I have also written to support about this. In response, they told me to update to the new 4.9! Apparently Anker doesn’t want to understand the problem and doesn’t want to provide a solution. Apparently they don’t even know that the new version is 5.x! I recommend everyone to contact the support via app so that they can see how many people have the problem.
Ideally with a screen recording - this can be attached to the message
SOLVED by restarting the home base and then reconnecting the indoor cameras to the homebase
Works for a little while then the problems start again. I have reset restarted and reinstalled so many times my finger hurts
eufy told me i need to replace both my C24 cam. well too bad its outta warranty, but hey they said they can offer 30% discount.
uninstalled eufy app. downgrade to ver 4.9. and wham…live video, playback smooth like butter. Every single time eufy upgrade firmware something break.
Same issue … 3 cameras showing off. Stop messing with the app Eufy
I received an email from tech support this morning about the issues we are having with the app showing our cameras turned off and then we can’t turn them on or disconnecting from the home base vice versa whatever. I guess there’s a bug which they denied earlier on when we had this issue but hopefully within a short period of time they will release a fix and our problems will go away. I just rolled back to the previous version of the app and it solved all my issues except for some minor bugs that I had previously before the new upgrade. So I guess my Samsung S21 Ultra should be up and running with the new fix soon.
My biggest issue is why iphones get preference over Android devices when Android has the largest market share globally by over 70%. Just me grumbling…
Email:
" I received an update from our engineering team today regarding the issue you reported.
It appears that the problem is caused by a bug in the new version of the app.
When you modify certain modes or disable certain features, the command may not successfully transfer to the device. However, this issue does not involve any privacy or security risks.
The upcoming version 5.0.30 of the app should resolve the command transfer failure. In the meantime, if the issue persists, please follow the steps below to upload your device logs:
Open the eufySecurity app and tap the three-lined menu icon at the top-left corner.
Go to “Settings” → “About” → “Upload Log.”
Authorize the device logs by selecting “Device logs,” choosing your devices, and tapping “Authorize.”
If you have already updated the app, you can also follow this path:
eufy app → Tap your account profile (top-left) → Settings → About → Upload Log
Please let me know if you have any further questions or concerns. I look forward to your feedback"
Same issue with both of my wired 2k indoor cameras. Outdoor solar are working fine. Need a s3curiry patch update to fix problem from eufy!
Exactly same issue…
Mines doing the same thing too…
Hola , parece que ya se ha solucionado.
Hay una actualizacion la version 5.0.31_6710EU
Sustituye a la que fallaba que era la 5.0.30
La acabo de actualizar desde la playstore y todo funciona correctamente
Got the same problem. I can neither off the alarm nor turn cameras off. It’s extremely annoying as hell when alarms are going off everywhere as my dogs are running around the house.
Is your homebase wired or wireless? Mines wireless and seems that even though this is not a very big apartment I’ve been having weak WiFi signals and the cameras and sometimes the homebase drop offline. I bought a couple cheaper TP range extenders and installed them, added the homebase to one and things are much smoother. But the drawback being you can’t view your cameras unless you’re on the same network.
Eufy just put out a new update for app. go and updated in google play store.
all these issues should be fixed.
I’m scared to update let us know how it goes ![]()
If you let the cameras connect to HB3 for the new Ai detection you loose the ability to control the cameras on a schedule. I found the only way to fix this was to remove the cameras and reinstall them, only connect them via Wi-Fi and not the new AI version update to HB3. I like the AI idea but want to be able to set the cameras on and off when I want.
Working fine for me. I got 2 c24 and e330 with hb3. All connected
